The Lyrical Narrator

The Lyrical Narrator is a 2017 art project involving portrait photography of music lovers with lyrics draped or written on their bodies.  Participants are asked to choose songs that they listened to during difficult or defining times in their lives. The project dives deep into Holls’ art and music therapy research she conducts at Duke University.

"My mind is blown."

"It was really fun getting to know the team during the project. They were all helpful in answering my questions and made me feel completely at ease. The design ended up being twice as good as I could have ever envisioned! Don't wait any longer to call up the team, you're only hurting yourself by postponing!"
